So...Let's Be Real

Hey sis,
So...shit has been hard here lately. Like...really hard. Have you've felt that way too? Work is a lil bit too much, motherhood(if this applies) feels super ghetto, and you're just over it. I have felt like that. Part of my struggle is getting those stupid negative thoughts in my head to shut the hell up. The thoughts that tell me, "I don't know why you even try." "People don't care if you are struggling." "No one cares about you or how you feel." These thoughts often try to move into my permanent thoughts with a coupon... and every single day I have to evict their asses, cause I know I am created for so much more.
I wish...I wish I could tell you how to make those negative thoughts go away permanently, but it is everyday push. For me, I read my bible. I have to read words that came straight from God to silence the lies that the enemy wants me to believe. Now, I often turn to other sources to try to get help, but nothing...and I mean NOTHING helps me more than reading that:
*I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139: 14)
*God knows the plans for my life. (Jeremiah 29:11)
*God is protecting me. (Psalm 91)
*I am not condemned, but an heir of God (Romans 8)
*NOTHING can or will separate me from the love of God. (Romans 8: 37-39)
*God is with me wherever I go. (Joshua 1:9)
Now..Jesus may be something different to you than He is to me, and that is fine, cause He is everything to me. If reading scriptures is not easy or familiar to you, then I encourage you to read affirmations for you, and write affirmations that you believe. Not the ones that sound good, but the ones that make you truly feel good and believe that you are worth everything that was poured into you. I also encourage and support you to read the scriptures that I referenced above.
Every day will not be roses and sunflowers, yet we can continue to push forward, walk in our light, and trust that we matter to this world and we have a place in it.
